Overview: Most people, when trapped in a burning building would think to get out, call the fire department if they aren’t already on their way, and hope that any family, pets or cherished items survive. However most people aren’t actively fighting a cultist who set the building on fire for fun. Fewer still would have a nun for a sister that said cultist was specifically targeting.
Also most people aren’t Ace, The mystic ex-con who works with the NYPD to keep the streets free from other mystics who might try and summon some dragons to strong arm the government into collapsing so they can take control, and now to that resume she’s going to put cultists trying to burn the entire city to the ground
With her sister wanting some more time with “the family” a commissioner who caught wind that someone’s being paid for magic consultation and thanksgiving not even a week away it’s going to be a struggle. At least this time Ace is sure her apartment won’t burn down.
