Once Aspen, the Dragon Clan’s king, has his sights set on Snow, there is no escape.
Some quick thinking on Snow’s part ends up keeping her from being alone with this new threat. She manages to keep Everest by her side thanks to a few little white lies, but they are forced to leave Forest behind in a vulnerable position in the middle of the Forgotten Forest.
Now, instead of traveling to safety, Everest and Snow are forced to go into the unknown.
They must work together to escape Aspen’s kingdom while keeping their true feelings towards each other hidden. That almost becomes an impossible task as the situation pushes Everest and Snow even closer than before. The only thing keeping them apart is Snow’s love for Forest. No matter how much she hates what he’s done, she can’t deny her connection to Forest.
If or once she’s free from Aspen, Snow will have to make a choice.
Snow’s life and future hangs in the balance, but she isn’t going to give up.
