In the beginning, everything was social media, fun, and games but when an organization hijacks planes, trains, and buses around the globe simultaneously and unleashes the zombie virus wiping out humanity on every continent within weeks, it’s now up to a group of survivors who are different in every way to fight for survival each and every day. Jenn and Chris later discover they were secret experiments for this organization. They’re drawn to each other like a magnet. They possess abilities that enhance their DNA. The experiment was carried out against their will and now they’re being hunted by the very organization that created them. Now everyone has to trust each other because their lives depend on it and they can’t afford any distractions.

This is a short story of Jess and Carmen from when they leave Salem, NJ, up to the time they help Chris and the group from the Yelling Man and the Lost cult. After they are accepted beyond the gates, not long after, there’s a zombie invasion. A massive horde destroys the base, and they rebuild and train harder. Beyond their trek, they are met with many challenges and obstacles in their way.
