The world famous investigative journalist, Richard Austin, is on the trail of the New World Order, and plutonium that has gone missing from a number of sources around the world. Even more alarming is the fact that entire nuclear warheads seem to have been spirited away – and no one has any answers. The trail leads to the DSR storage facility in Antarctica. But the planes crash landing on the ice means Austin is badly injured and his two colleagues killed.
On returning to the UK, and in front of the worlds media, an attempt is made on Austins life – by his own estranged wife. As he recovers in hospital, his whistleblower online friends lay low, the terrorists continue their pursuit of the missing warheads and those responsible for taking the warheads successfully cover their tracks.

The giant corporation, DSR, has been buying up a whole range of R&D facillities. They have been launching their new generation of communications satellites – but have suffered cataclysmic sabotage.
Austin is convinced of what is happening. He is sure the DSR satellites are in fact nuclear warheads now in orbit around the Earth – and DSR is a front for a secretive group attempting to take over the world who see the world falling into religiously extremist orientated chaos that will destroy civilisation. He intends to prove this. Yet as his colleagues are all rounded up and disappear from public view, it is clear DSR control the information on the internet. As his own daughter is kidnapped, Austin has little option.
Out of sheer revenge Austin sets in motion a series of events that he hopes will destroy his shadowy enemy. He sets his house to explode just as the security services descend en masse into this house – and he heads off to track down the government minister who has successfully protected DSR from scrutiny. There in secret research facilities off the coast of Cornwall, Austin comes face to face with incredible technological advances, he finds his daughter and the woman who betrayed him, he finds his friends who have defected, and he finds his enemy. His enemies plans are not what he thought – they are far more ambitious.
As he is captured and prevented from destroying all he could see, Richard Austin understands these people weren’t preparing to take over the world. They had been siphoning off resources as they prepared to leave the chaos of the world behind.
