He felt as if everything fell into ruin.
Even if Bryan didn’t decide to pack his bags and move out, the comfortable friendship that was forming between them would crumble, nothing would be the same again. Everything they were working towards was flushed in one swift moment of his idiocy. Matt glanced at his phone as it began to ring again, he could barely resist answering it just to hear Bryan’s voice, regardless of what he was going to say but the fear paralyzed him. He knew he was acting like a sulky teenager but the only thing he could think of doing was switching the device off. Once again, his car fell silent.
