Overview: My best friend is the groomsman at his ex’s wedding, and he asks me to be his pretend wedding date. There’s just a small problem—I’m straight.
I haven’t seen Lucas since we graduated from college, but when he asks me to be his fake date at an epic destination wedding in New Zealand, I’m 100% on board.
Since I’m still resentful after my girlfriend dumped me, posting awesome photos of my time without her will be the best sort of revenge. Besides, it will be great to spend time with Lucas again.
And I need to protect him from his terrible ex.
But when we get to New Zealand, I quickly realize there are other benefits I hadn’t counted on. Like cuddling with Lucas in our massive bed. And kissing him…only when required, of course.
I was surrounded by gay guys in college, so if I was going to start questioning things, surely it would have happened then…right?
I’m definitely straight, and this thing with Lucas is definitely platonic.
