Devil’s Den, 1 | My name is Steven Cabbott, and I’m a former spy with a dark past. I’m trying to change, but some habits stick with you, and killing is one of those habits.

I’ve recently started seeing demons and have even had to fight a few. I suspect it has something to do with my bat-shit crazy mother. She killed my father when I was young, claiming he was a demon. I figured she was nuts. Now I’m not so certain.

I’ve returned home to uncover the truth about my past, when my old flame, Kate, asks for my help. I haven’t heard from her in 16 years, but I owe her. A mysterious cult has kidnapped her teenaged daughter, and I’m the only chance she has to get her back.

What seems like a simple case turns into a much larger fight between light and darkness. It appears that both heaven and hell want to use my services, which forces me into a rather difficult choice. To make matters worse, a fallen angel wants an unhealthy romantic relationship with me and just won’t take no for an answer. Or at least that’s what I think, but to be fair, I only have a tentative grasp on reality at the moment.

Devil’s Dance, 2 | An amazing new technology engineered to make people smarter, a series of gruesome murders, and a mystery so dark, it threatens everyone.

WINNER: Readers’ Favorite Book Award – Gold Medal: Fiction – Christian – Fantasy/Sci-Fi

I’m a Nephilim, born of a fallen angel father and a human mother. This makes me special in ways I don’t fully comprehend yet.

A war is brewing between angels and demons, and like it or not, we’ll all have to choose sides. I’ve chosen the side of angels, a curious decision for me, not only because I’m a killer, but because I enjoy killing. Still, an angel promised me that redemption is possible – even for me – and he needed warriors on his side. Did he tell me the truth? I hope so, but who can I trust?

In a small, sleepy, tourist town, an old friend asks me to help solve a series of gruesome murders that have been plaguing the town, but these aren’t just random crimes. Somehow, they’re connected to this war between angels and demons. I prefer working alone, not having to worry about others, but I team up with a self-described anti-technology hooligan, and a beautiful bartender I immediately fall for. If only they knew what I know. The foe we’re facing is way more powerful than anything they can imagine.

I must solve the mystery before it’s too late, because I’m certain of this one thing: Everyone’s soul is at stake.

Devil’s Deal, 3 | It turns out that hell and Lucifer aren’t what I imagined. That’s a good thing, although I’m still forced to make a deal with the Devil, one that might trigger the Apocalypse. Not at my best, I’m compelled to walk a tricky line. I’ve already sworn an oath to Father Paul and the light angels, but if that oath was based on falsehoods, does it still bind me?

Hank’s best friend sends him a message that he’s in trouble, and we return to Charleston to sort it out. We suspect the worst, but what should be a simple case turns out to be anything but. A terror they call the Vampire is killing kids. I can sense that he’s not human, but he’s not an angel or a demon either. He’s something else.

Hank and I will put everything on the line to figure out what happened to his friend and shut down whoever is terrorizing his hometown. I’m suspicious this is all tied to the End of Days and my untenable position between light and darkness.

Hopefully, the Fates will be kind to me.

Devil’s Day, 4 | I’m running out of time to prevent the End of Days.

“Devil’s Day is a phenomenal supernatural novel. Filled with action, drama, extraordinary characters, and a mesmerizing storyline, Mr. Altabef has created another brilliant masterpiece!” (Readers’ Favorite Book Reviews, Susan Sewell, 5 stars)

In an unfortunate twist of fate, I’m the bloody Anti-Christ, and everyone wants to take me down: light and dark angels, Magics, and a particularly annoying sheriff. It’s really pissing me off.

I’m outgunned in this fight, so I turn to the Fates, but their help won’t come cheap.

Someone is possessing holy people in New York City, turning them into terrorists. The Fates want him stopped, not because they’re swell witches, but because they think he’s hiding their Sight and out to get them. If I can somehow kill this ultra-powerful, voodoo-practicing madman, they’ve promised to help me.

But will it be enough?

My father tells me he has a plan that might just stop the end of the world — if I’m strong enough to complete it. I’d like to trust him, but…well, he is the Devil. Best devise a plan of my own, just in case.
