Overview: I started this writing thing by accident. I was living thru a trying time and it came out of nowhere- I wrote High Country Journal. That was the very first thing I’ve ever written in my life. When it was done I was very surprised that I could do such a thing. Yes, it was rough and I hadn’t yet learned about spell/grammar check and it needed a great deal of help; but people who read it liked it. They forgave me my mistakes and encouraged me to keep writing so I did. It was several years before I published anything on Amazon Kindle and bad spelling/grammar aside people liked something about my style.

Book 1 – The Beginning: This is the story of a man in his later years who finds himself a very long way from home and hearth when the SHTF. It’s a tale of the drive to get home come hell or high water.
Book 2 – Timberline: This is the story of a man in his later years who finds himself a very long way from home and hearth when the SHTF. It’s a tale of the drive to get home come hell or high water.
I’m writing it about the way I myself would get home after an event. I can only hope I would do as well in real life.
I have the will , drive and know how but maybe the ol body is low on fuel. Time will tell.
Book 3 – Texas and Home: This is the third in the series "A Long Lonely Road",about the efforts of an older man to get home to Texas after an EMP strands him in Montana.
