Overview: The main character of the story and the series is Besmir, an orphan in a foreign land, and an outcast of the society. Although found as an only survivor by the Duke and brought back as a baby, he was never accepted by the local people. Regardless, for some reason, he remains in Duke’s favour and is allowed some kind of independence and solitude under the condition that he hunts and provides the food for the court. That is until the moment he is ordered to take an apprentice.
Naturally, no one is willing to volunteer apart from Keluse, a young woman running always from her horrid living circumstances. Two of them develop a comfortable friendship based on mutual respect.
