Overview: When Katie’s husband Jacob got called up to the AA squad, she couldn’t have been more excited for him. They were just married six months ago and things were going great for them so far. Jacob was a promising third baseman with a .392 BA in A ball. If he could keep it up the next stop would be AAA and then the big show.
When he arrived at the clubhouse he found out that the team had a very unique way of welcoming new players, especially married new players. There wasn’t some silly hazing that happens in college involving huge amounts of alcohol, but there was something that he was both excited and afraid to inform Katie of.
