Overview: Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan, I’ve always loved to read. When I decided at age 12 that I wanted to be a writer, my first stories reflected my interest in science fiction (though somehow they always managed a romance as well). I devoured all of Robert Heinlein’s books for teens and lived for Star Trek, Lost in Space, Time Tunnel, and the Invaders.
I love writing books with that little twist from the ordinary. I hope you enjoy reading them as well.

Must Love Dogs
What is a woman afraid of dogs supposed to do in a town filled with them?
When Megan Grinnell discovers the brother she thought dead is alive, she’s thrilled. Now she’ll have a family. But her teenage brother, Riley, doesn’t remember her. Worse, the next door neighbor, Kade Sullivan, is his temporary guardian.
Meg is determined to do whatever it takes to win over her brother. Even if it means moving to Dogwood, a town littered with dogs, which terrify her. In addition, she has to find a way to convince Kade she’s the best guardian for Riley.
Kade swore to Riley’s father to watch over the boy. He’s not about to let this citified socialite take Riley away from Dogwood, even if she is his sister. Problem is, she’s attractive on many levels, which he really doesn’t need right now. He’s learned women aren’t to be trusted, and that includes Meg.
Can Meg overcome her fear and Kade his distrust of women in order to make the best life for a grieving, rebellious boy?

He’s handsome, he’s a lawyer, and her parents will be so pleased with the prospect of a new son-in-law, they’ll stop pestering her about the rest of her life.
Steve is willing to play along and save her from her parents’ criticisms. Besides, a fake relationship might be exactly what he needs to throw off an ex-girlfriend who has decided to stalk him and make his life miserable. After a tragic experience in his past, he’s resigned to the fact that he’ll never love again. But why does he enjoy being around Laurel so much, not to mention kissing her?
