Overview: I was not fortunate enough to have been born to Welsh parents. Instead, my melting-pot American roots run to both Scotland and Germany. I did, however, find a nice American girl with solid Scottish ancestry to marry. Nor was I born in the Dark Ages. And, I’m sorry, but I’m neither a vampire, nor undead of any sort. Maybe someday. My wife and I, both of us from the midwest section of America, currently live in Los Angeles, California. Which is about as from Wales as one can get in the English speaking Northern hemisphere. I’m a retired journalist and professional photographer. Now I write while sitting on our balcony with my fuzzy editor, Loco-Kitty.
I’m currently editing, writing, or dreaming up plot points for the Cup of Blood series of novels (sequels to The Penllyn Chronicles). When I’m not doing either of those, I hang out at the Santa Monica Pier and give historical walking tours of the pier.

2. A Soul of Steel

When old enemies resurface, my new world gets turned upside down. My impetuous nature comes dangerously close to revealing my nature to those I want to never meet again. And that murderous creature, the beast who slaughters our people for pleasure, is still out there. Still lurking…

The goddess also warns me to prepare for a “great sacrifice.” Will I have to give my undead life to protect the people and land I’ve come to love?
4. A Whisper of Darkness
Her battles shook the land! Britain still quakes from the decisive battle in A Blink of an Eye. The tremors of which released a new evil. One out to wreak havoc on Dark Ages Britain.
Mair’s skills with her sword may not be enough to protect friends, new and old, with the threat even she doesn’t have experience with. But first, they have to find a creature that doesn’t want to be tracked.
Courtly politics and friendly alliances pull Mair into Mercia. She quickly finds herself in the middle of a new storm of death and destruction. The worst threat may be Mercian intrigue which could reveal her secrets if she’s not forced into that herself.
