Wine lovers and amateur sleuths, Anita and Jannelle are getting ready to host the annual Jingle Bells Auction, which this year is being held to benefit the Denniston Rescue League.
Upping the ante, The Beautiful Yard donates a hand-built deck for the Grand Prize and ticket sales go through the roof. There are so many raffle tickets sold prior to the actual auction, that some of the money collected from the local businesses is going to be given to the rescue even before the main event so that they’re able to make a down-payment on a desperately needed x-ray machine.
On the way to the committee meeting to count the presale money, however, Anita disappears, along with the bag of cash. Jannelle receives a mysterious and frightening order to cancel the auction or Anita will get hurt. It’s up to her to figure out who in the world would want to hurt Anita or prevent the rescue from receiving the money.
