Why had she acted so very rashly?
Catriona, a hotel employee, had lost her temper–and her job–over Count Vilhena’s arrogant demands. Now he wanted to hire her as companion to his half sister!
The job, though, meant living in Malta–under the same roof as the forceful count.
Impulsively Catriona agreed, excited by the idea of travel. Yet she soon found life next to impossible when her heart proved more unpredictable than the count himself!
White Hibiscus:
He had no right to criticize her
Emma won the assignment of her dreams—modeling Princess Lisa’s summer collection at a fabulous island estate near Malta.
Everything was perfect – except for Paul Demajo, the princess’s cynical, darkly handsome brother. He been even try to hide his disdain. Models, he said, were boring and had dubious morals.
Emma fumed over the injustice. What about his own morals? What was going on between the lofty Count Paul and the alluring village girl, Marianne?
