Mystery in the Secluded Mansion
Susannah is still in mourning, wearing her widow’s weeds, for her husband who shockingly fell from his horse and died a year ago. They call her the “Widow Drake”, because she is lonely and grieving, but there is much more around this mysterious widow. She carries secrets buried deep about her marriage that nobody should ever find out! For Susannah, the first glimpse of the tall, handsome master of horses will kindle something deep inside her, something that she never thought she would feel again. But with wounds from the past still bleeding, how can she ever hope to open her heart, and love again?

When Jasper Stone arrives at The Willows, to tame the new colt the Widow Drake has purchased, he mistakenly thinks there is nothing exciting about his new assignment. He has been drifting through the country, trying to clear his mind from the painful events that forced him to leave home many months ago…But the Widow Drake is not the middle aged virago Jasper is anticipating. She is a young, beautiful woman; a passionate woman that might be dangerous. How can he hope to keep the fortress he has built around his heart intact?

Jasper is not alone in trying to attract the beautiful Widow Drake. A man from her past holds the key to the painful secrets of her past, as well as threatens her very future. As Jasper and Susannah grow closer, she knows she is being drawn to him, as irresistibly as a moth to fire. Can she find the courage to open her heart, even if danger swirls all around her once again?

Until Murder Do Us Part
Lake Pleasant is the type of town where you know all your neighbors, nothing is secret and gossip is rampant. This small town is now gearing up for its biggest event since its founding. Everyone is looking forward to the Dorsett-Parsley wedding, a massive celebration in honor of the town’s most popular and wealthy couple. This celebration of life though will quickly turn morbid as among the guest list, an unwelcome murderer has also been joined the festivities…

During the lively reception, a member of the bridal party, a bright young woman named Rachel West, drops dead. While everyone in town seems content with brushing the truth under the carpet by claiming the young woman died of natural causes, one resident will stand apart from the rest. A recently retired teacher and wedding guest, Jessica Scott, is determined to find the truth at all costs. No one but her seems to suspect the mystery around the death of the young woman and the town resists the terrifying truth that one of their own may be a killer. Armed with nothing but her wits and a hunger for justice, Jessica decides to investigate the murder by herself (and a sassy cat named Slinky). In the process, she’ll uncover horrifying secrets and a past that many would prefer to keep buried. The question is just how deceived could she have been about her not so innocent hometown?

From flower shops to the golf club, Jessica is more than willing to turn the town upside down in pursuit of the facts. She’ll face opposition from the most unlikely places and have to wade through an ocean of lies. Regardless of others wanting to conceal the truth, Jessica’s need for justice refuses to be silenced. Will Jessica manage to expose the shocking truth about what really happened to Rachel? Or will her death forever remain an unresolved mystery?

The Harbor’s Deadly Secrets
It’s nearly Christmas and thirty-year-old Maria Kesselring is down on her luck, unable to pay both her rent and her seafood restaurant’s bills. Her troubles seem to wash away though when she receives an unexpected, overgenerous tip by a random customer. But little did she know how wrong she would be proved by the nightmare this night would turn into. Shock will hit her in waves when this same customer and his girlfriend are found brutally murdered on the beach right after leaving her restaurant…

As one of the last people to see them alive, Maria is wanted for questioning, but she has some crucial questions of her own: who would hate this couple so badly to want them both dead? And who had been sending threatening letters to them before their death? What does any of this have to do with the mysterious figures of Bar Harbor, such as the reclusive heiress who owns the lighthouse, or the faceless silhouette that haunts Highway 1?

The mystery thickens when another person is killed and Maria realizes the enormous danger she’s placed herself into. Defying every police advice, she pursues her own justice. She scrambles to interview a motley collection of suspects and is shocked by the secrets she uncovers. With corpses piling up, Maria becomes obsessed with finding the vicious killer who has so far managed to elude the police despite such provoking crimes. Will she manage to expose the whole truth before the murder of another victim or will the killer get to her first?

A Lesson in Foul Play
Watson-Collins, a private school for students of high intelligence, is not a place you could easily mess around in. With kids exclusively coming from wealthy and important families, the hierarchy between educator and student is reversed. Theatre teacher, Ronni Adams, is quite satisfied with her position there and knows better than to challenge the established order. This dynamic will take an unexpected turn though, when one day things turn too grim for Ronni to ignore, even in a school already full of dark, hidden secrets. As she enters the building that day, a little earlier than usually, she freezes to the sound of a piercing scream. Rushing towards the source of the horrific noise, she is shocked by the eerily quiet sight of someone lying on the floor. As she approaches them, a cold shiver penetrates her skin, realizing that she is staring down at the lifeless body of her student, Sylvia.

High school senior, Sylvia Hawkins, was not loved by many. Typically for a mean girl like her, all other students hated her, except for a group of followers, who practically worshiped and envied her. Was either hate or worship enough of a motive to kill? Ronni, along with a fellow teacher, is determined to expose who could have committed such a gruesome crime. The list is anything but short and suspects seem to appear everywhere she looks… Was it the boy Sylvia pushed down the stairs or the girl she lied about, causing her to lose a scholarship to Harvard? Could it be Millie, the slightly overweight girl Sylvia called Piggy? Perhaps it was none of these, but one of the many others Sylvia had targeted. Luckily for Ronni, the murderer left one crucial piece of evidence behind… Could this be a head start in the race against the vicious killer?

With the police running around in circles and asking questions, Ronni is faced with unexpected challenges in her quest for justice. Not only that, but time is dangerously running out not only for her, but for the fate of the entire school. To make matters even more complicated, on one hand Peter, her boyfriend, seems to be really eager to help and on the other hand, he acts as a risky distraction from her dedication to the case. Ronni will need to move fast and against all odds, before this murder turns into another dark secret to be buried deep in the school’s tangled past… Will she be able to trace the killer’s steps by piecing together the disclosures of terrified students?
