Come Morning (1986)
Runyan has spent seven years in San Quentin on a robbery conviction. With the help of a buddy from his time in Vietnam, he stole two million dollars’ worth of diamonds–the whereabouts which are known to him alone. Now, thanks to the complicity of an insurance investigator, Moyers, Runyan is being granted early parole. In return, Runyan agrees to sell the diamonds to Moyers.
Glass Tiger (2006)
It’s election night in the US. Gustave Walberg becomes leader of the free world and legendary Vietnam sniper Halden Corwin murders his daughter and son-in-law before disappearing into the night. Driven by events that took place over forty years ago, he now has the President’s head in his sights.
Escaping his old life as a CIA sniper in Colombia, Brendan Thorne has become a guard at a safari camp in Kenya’s Tsavo Game Park. But FBI agent Terrill Hatfield has other ideas – he arranges for Thorne to be deported back to the US, to protect the President. He is the only man who can stop Corwin and save the nation’s leader.
As Thorne comes steadily closer to his quarry, he discovers he can trust no one, except perhaps the mysterious Janet Kestrel. Caught in a web of lies and ambitions, Thorne realizes it is no longer the President’s live he needs to save, but his own…
Interface (1974)
Neil Fargo is a San Francisco private investigator hired by the wealthy Maxwell Stayton to find his missing daughter. His search takes him into the very heart of the city’s ugly underbelly. And Fargo makes the move into the drug business at just about the same time as Docker, a Vietnam veteran with close links to Fargo, is storming through San Francisco’s criminal underworld on a murderous campaign of revenge.
Menaced Assassin (1994)
It began with the murder of a beautiful woman, the adulterous wife of a mild-mannered professor. Then a corrupt cop was gunned down in a phone booth.
After that, the killer who called himself Raptor moved through a list of players, playboys and mobsters from Palm Springs to Minnesota. With each hit came a phone call to San Francisco organised crime investigator Dante Stagnoro, and a disguised, taunting voice daring Stagnoro to stop him. Raptor is a killer like no other Stagnoro has ever pursued.
And the final truth of his death trip – a truth about man, nature and God – will not be revealed until the last victim is claimed.
