Moonlight Mist
Known as the ‘naughtier twin’ of Downpatrick Hall, Miss Lynden is far more brash and adventurous than her sister Lorraine. After flying a kite into a tree and climbing out onto a branch, she is saved from a terrible fall by Lord Justin Melbrooke, who pulls her through his open window… and into his bedroom.
It’s all quite innocent, of course. But when an unannounced visitor walks in – and sees Lord Justin untangling Lynden’s skirt – there is only one way to salvage her reputation: marriage. In a whirlwind ceremony, Lynden finds herself exchanging vows with one of England’s most sought-after bachelors. Neither one is truly ready to settle down, but their heated words soon turn to heated kisses, and their marriage of convenience may just turn out to be the match of a lifetime.
Gypsy Heiress
HOW WELL SHE HID HER WILD GYPSY HEART.
She was the devil’s own daughter, an outcast even among vagabonds-so declared the angry Englishman who dragged the ragged Liza from the woods to Hedgehill Hall-the first step on a journey to a public hanging.
Hedgehill Hall! Home of the historic Earls of Brockhaven, where the lord of the manor eyed her innocent bosom with undisguised interest and alarm. For there hung the medallion of the Marquis of Chadbourne, a tiny golden heirloom that laid claim to a fabulous fortune and an estate envied throughout the countryside. Liza’s life would never be the same. But what mattered wealth when her happiness was a stake? And how could Liza live as a fine lady while her heart was breaking for an aloof English lord-none other than the notorious, achingly unattainable Brockhaven himself!
Love’s a Stage
From the moment she arrives in the big city, Miss Frances Atherton finds herself in the most treacherous of scenarios-until a golden-haired stranger comes to her rescue. The dashing Mr. David is as handsome and heroic as any leading man in a play. He is also, she learns, one of the most notorious rakes in London. A rake with a secret as shocking and dramatic as her own . . .
Frances is a country parson’s daughter pretending to be an actress. Her plan is to unmask the infamous Blue Specter, a smuggler who framed her father and hides among the actors, thieves, and ne’er-do-wells of Drury Lane. The plot thickens when David is revealed to be Lord Landry-the most renowned playwright of the day. If all the world’s a stage, Frances and David are just the players to expose the Specter’s crimes. But how long can they hide their growing attraction . . . when their hearts and their lives are in very real danger?
