The Egg-Shaped Thing: Three screaming cats, a no-entry road sign, a pair of swans, three dead trees, two craggy rocks, a blue pool within a huge subterranean hall… What does it all mean? James Fulbright wants to know – because unless he finds out, Time will wrap round itself.
The Egg-Shaped Thing is a novel about Einstein’s Law of Relativity let loose. It is an adventure story in which the enemy is a twist in space, brought about by the immersion in that space of a terrifying object of indefinable dimensions.

The Prayer Machine: Neil Prentice dares to try to turn the universe inside out, driven by forces he barely comprehends. There is such terror in his mind that he drives down to Norton — a modern scientific complex in the West Country — to rid himself of a tormenting idea and to quell the voices which rage inside him. But the psychiatrists there are violently divided about his condition. Is he someone who really understands the appalling consequences of the genetic engineering being carried on at Norton … does he know, by means of some completely inexplicable process, where the blanket use of antibiotics will lead … or the horrifying consequences of the chance bonding of molecules of plastic and the organic cells of life itself? If he is merely mad, does that explain why there is madness gathering in the dark clouds over Norton?Perhaps most worryingly is the answer to the question: is he the first person ever to pass through a celestial black hole? If so, what they will find on the other side has the ability to shake the very foundations of their world…

This is a novel which reveals a link between schizophrenia and metaphysics and takes the reader into the unknown labyrinths of the psychotic’s world. In The Prayer Machine, we go round the Mobius twist to examine secrets which colossal laser-power can penetrate and explain. We travel a road that leads to places we have never been before, nor ever will again.

The Thinktank That Leaked: Man has not yet succeeded in creating any form of intelligent life… Or has he? Within the recesses of innocuous-looking academic buildings at vast universities, hideous experiments are being conducted which — if most of us had our way — we would forcibly amputate. At least, according to Roger Kepter, a scientist and a keen pilot who stumbles upon a deeply dangerous and invasive device — one which disturbs human patterns of emotion and records the interior thoughts of mentally ill patients. In charge of this chilling operation is Dr Spender, a pitiful and sly man with a hubristic nature. The apparent aim of his experiments is to isolate and remove negative sensations of hate and anger, but his interference with nature has devastating consequences. When Roger meets the beautiful Nesta Crabtree he learns the terrifying truth behind Dr Spender’s previous experiments and the catastrophic damage inflicted as a result. The threat of an unknown contamination is now in full force and is multiplying independently…

In a deeply unsettling account of science and scientists existing for themselves, The Thinktank That Leaked explores the dangers of probing everlastingly into the subterranean seams of knowledge which cannot but lead to destruction.
