Overview: M.J. O’Shea has been writing romance since algebra class in sixth grade (when most of her stories starred her and Leonardo DiCaprio). When she’s not writing, she loves listening to nearly all types of music, painting, reading great authors, and on those elusive sunny days in the Pacific Northwest, she loves driving on the freeway with her windows rolled down and her stereo on high.
Genre: Romance MM
Bridges: With names like Dallas and Brooklyn they could’ve either been best friends…or worst enemies. The war started in third grade, with a surprise punch to the face, and lasted until the summer after high school when Brooklyn and Dallas are stuck working at the same store. At night. Together. It should’ve been a recipe for disaster. But instead of outright combat, they slowly start to notice that not only do they not hate each other, but perhaps they have more in common than either of them knew. Soon, amidst unexpected laughter and camaraderie, Dallas realizes that maybe the guy who used to be his number one enemy could actually be his perfect match.
The Key (sequal to Bridges): Brooklyn and Dallas have been together ever since the night six months ago when they kissed under the stars on top of Dallas’ old trampoline. They spent that summer planning their life together in college. But things haven’t quite gone as planned, and their relationship … well, it kind of isn’t going at all.
Brooklyn is terrified that Valentine’s Day will be his last chance to convince Dallas to stay
Don’t Look: Christian and Sean met when they were just kids and had been in love ever since. Together, they planned a long happy life with each other. When Christian was diagnosed with terminal cancer at twenty-two, they fought for his life but despite his youth and strength he succumbed to the disease.
Two years later, Sean is still struggling with overwhelming sadness and Christian, who pleaded with higher powers to be allowed to watch over his love, hates watching helpless as his partner spirals into dark depression.
He is granted the ability to go to Sean at night and try to comfort him and make him happy once more. Only he must not tell Sean who he is and can never let Sean or any other human see his face. He must come up with another way to let the grieving Sean know that he’s kept his promise.
That no matter what they would always be together.
