The Wing Alak stories
An old favourite of mine, Wing Alak uses guile and cunning to keep the galactic peace. The later Dominic Flandry is certainly cut from the same cloth, and his first outing in Tiger by the Tail could easily be a Wing Alak story. This ebook has been proof-read and features all of the original artwork from Astounding SF. The stories are:
* The Double-Dyed Villains
* Enough Rope
* The Live Coward
The Cappen Varra stories
The stories of Anderson’s saga-age hero Cappen Varran are all here:
* The Valor of Cappen Varra
* The Gate of Flying Knives
* The Lady of the Winds
* Fairy Gold
The Old Phoenix Tavern first appeared as a dimensionally-wandering place of refuge in Anderson’s A Midsummer Tempest in 1974. It was revisited twice more. This ebook consists of the following:
* A Midsummer Tempest (Chaps XI, XII & epilogue)
* House Rule
* Loser’s Night.
