Overview: White was born in Philadelphia in 1970 and grew up there in the quarters of the black population. In his youthful life, violence, drugs, and death played a major role, which also contributed to his later work as a writer. He was first kickboxer in the World Class Heavyweight, then coach of various combat sports. He published his first book in 2002, since then he has written nine novels, four novella and several short stories, which were published in three collections. White lives with his wife and three children in Austin , Texas.
