1. Crown Jewel: The Battle for the Falklands (1): The Falkland Islands are a British Overseas Territory that are located some 400 miles off Argentina’s Patagonian coastline. Argentina calls the remote and windswept South Atlantic archipelago ‘Las Islas Malvinas,’ and has never recognized London’s claim.
In 1982, Argentina initiated a campaign to bring Las Islas Malvinas back into the fold, calling it ‘Operación Rosario.’ Despite initial success, the invasion and occupation failed, and the British were able to hold on to their remnant of Empire.

Despite this defeat, however, Argentina has never abandoned its claim to the islands…Argentina, nursing a wounded economy, coveting the Falkland’s rich oil deposits, and influenced by a former Nazi, invades once again!

British Crown Prince Albert—an attack helicopter pilot fresh off a haunting tour of Afghanistan—is sent to the Falklands for a royal visit, and an affirmation of London’s commitment to the territory and its subjects. Caught in the unfolding operation, Prince Albert must face personal demons, as well as the Argentine commando sent to hunt him down.

2. Fourth Crisis: The Battle for Taiwan: Since the Chinese Civil War, Communist China has considered Taiwan—an island some 75 miles off its mainland coast—a renegade province.

In 1979, the American Congress ratified the Taiwan Relations Act. The Act stipulated that the United States of America “…will consider any effort to determine the future of Taiwan by other than peaceful means a threat to the peace and security of the Western Pacific area, and of grave concern to the United States.”
In 2005, the Politburo of the Communist Party of China announced the Anti-Secession Law. This Law authorized the use of force against Taiwan in the event of a declaration of independence or a threat to regional security.

Take to the air, land, and sea in this military techno-thriller in which a patriotic and conquest-hungry Chinese general sparks an international crisis that clears the path to an invasion of Taiwan.

Finding its Pacific bases and supercarriers under the gun, the United States scrambles to protect its charge. Though China seems to be the new Pacific power, American and Taiwanese warriors get to work in defense of freedom. The Chinese general, however, is willing to do all it takes to bring Taiwan back into the fold, even by risking a nuclear war.

Extensively researched, this novel includes accurate American, Chinese, and Taiwanese equipment, tactics, and formations, and explores how a new Pacific war could play out. Journey with characters that include American aviators, diplomats, and officers; Chinese fighting for the glory of their country; and Taiwanese struggling to maintain the independence they hold so dear.

3. Dragon Fire: The Battle for the Falklands (2): Arrogant, pedantic, and cool as a cucumber, Captain Fryatt must get HMS Dragon–an advanced British guided-missile destroyer–to the waters off the remote islands. However, in her path stands ARA San Luis II, an ultra-quiet Argentine diesel-electric submarine commanded by Capitán de Navío Jaime Matias. A battle of tactics, technology, and wits unfolds as both crews fight for the future and glory of their nation, and, their very lives…

“Dragon Fire” is an exciting action-filled naval thriller. The novella represents the second of the author’s “Battle for the Falklands” series, and takes place during the first part: “Crown Jewel.” However, it can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone read.
