Captain Nemo reappears to save professor Aronnax and the journalis Amelia Dupin as the Comunne sets Paris in flames.
The Nautilus, which they though sunk in the north of Norway, had in reality traveled through the maelstrom. Nemo’s spirit has since has been poisoned by a nightmarish creature tha has, for millions of years, been sleeping at the bottom of the ocean!
On board of the Nautilus the crew, aided by the eminent specialist on sea monsters, goes in search of a mysterious metal chest that go lost during the Secession war aound Cuba. But the wreckage of the battleship where it is in, is heavily guarded by an enomous octopus…
