Overview: After studying for a Diploma in Creative Writing, G R Matthews taught the subject at A Level and holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography. Currently working in education with a focus on Child Protection and Safeguarding, he finds time to write in the evenings between battles to get his children to go to bed and the desire to binge watch Eureka on Netflix. He has also studied (been hit a lot) Judo, Kung fu, Wing Chun and Kickboxing – and is not particularly skilled in any of them (hence the being hit a lot).

Too Short
Too Short is a collection of three science-fiction and fantasy short stories that are "well crafted and unsettling in how they challenge the reader’s assumptions about what he/she is reading." Zarun the swordsman starts hearing voices in the middle of battle. Jacob lives in a world where immortality is available to everyone and anyone, as long as they can afford it. Nothing is going to stop Jess getting the interview she has always desired. But, for all three, the events they live through will change them forever.
