Overview: I love reading, and I love watching movies. When reading a book, I expect it to come alive for me on the pages; unraveling much like a movie in my mind. When I write, I try to take the movie in my mind and put it onto the page. I wrote two of the novels I’ve released, in the 1980’s, as books and then turned them into screenplays in the 90’s when I got the bug to write feature-length film scripts. Then they were rewritten last year back into the books currently offered on-line. The basic outline of the manuscripts stayed the same, but everything else was rewritten to be more relevant to the last twenty years.
Genre: Romance
Letters from Becca
Sixty and single, John spends his days dodging his daughters’ unannounced visits to check on his well-being, and the Schultze sisters, who always appear on his daily walks. A self-proclaimed recluse, he prefers to stay home. That is, until a long-lost letter appears, from his best friend and first love, Becca; she is dying and wants to say goodbye. Every memory that meant anything to him she was part of. Her letters are all he has left. Every mile, every memory, every letter brings him closer to his first true love; letters filled with treasured and painful memories. Memories that he has buried for more than twenty years—fragile memories of abandonment, betrayal, marriage and death. Can she forgive him? Can he forgive himself? Or is he already too late?
Destiny by chance
…In a breath of a moment, Destiny loses everything she cares anything about—her son, her husband, her faith and even herself. How does one overcome the guilt of still being alive? Will the pain she encounters on the road to recovery be too much to bear or is she strong enough to begin again? Is her tattered heart truly closed off forever, or is there really another chance?
