Overview: I started writing when I left a thirty year career in social work. A long held ambition, my interest lies in portraying women’s issues in modern day society, in particular issues of sexual orientation, adjustment and the perceptions of others. I was born and raised in Scotland and read languages at St Andrews University, before going on to train and practice social work in both England and Scotland. My interest in writing was long standing and for several years, Orkney was the beautiful location where I was lucky enough to live and focus on my ambition.
