Overview: Steve Winshel received a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Princeton, but he ended up choosing a career in business and technology over academia.
During the past two decades, he has launched several startups, run a large consulting practice, and served as the Chief Information Officer for growing companies. He was most recently the CIO for a large health and fitness company where he ran the technology and online business. Steve currently is spending most of his time writing and advising various start-ups (and hiding from headhunters). More importantly, he has raised two beautiful, brilliant children who are both better writers than he is.
