Overview: When I first went to college, I envisioned a career as a writer, but though my first fantasy novel was described as "technically perfect", it was never picked up by a traditional publisher.
After creating a series of short works for a Lovecraft-inspired computer game, I published a collection of short stories on Amazon in 2008, thankfully without the need of an agent. Since those stories were very well received by fans of the genre, I went on to write Dreamlands.
The overwhelming dread of Lovecraft is incredibly difficult to sustain (and exhausting to read) over the length of a novel, so in Dreamlands I’ve tempered the terror and madness with an adventure story.
I live in the United States and occasionally contribute writing and character animation to computer games, as well as holding a real job.
