Overview: I was raised in Clarkson, Mississauga from the age of 2, but when I was 15 years old my parents bought a house up north in Flesherton, Ontario were the population was only 300. This has caused cultural shock to me and my brothers. I ended up running away as I couldnt handle the small community they choose to live in.
Upon running away I lived on the streets in many cities for almost seven years; drinking and drugging to adjust to the way of living and I felt lost in my own skin and thinking there wasnt anyone out there that could help me.
One day I had enough and called the Withdrawal Management Center (detox) in Brampton, Ontario to see if I could get help, as I really wanted it this time.
While in detox I asked them to help me get clean and sober so I could live in my own skin. I was accepted to a treatment center in Orillia, Ontario and spent three and a half months there learning how to live in the community. I really enjoyed the learning process that not only kept me sober and clean but also allowed me to return to school to get my Grade 12 diploma. I now have a diploma in Drug and Alcohol counselling, one as a Social Service worker and I am currently attending Lakehead University in Orillia working towards my bachelor of social work degree.

He meets puppeteer, Paul Curtain, who is touring with a traditional version of Hansel and Gretel and preparing for his new show Black Hansel. Unbeknown to Guy, Paul is David’s lover.
Pecking Disorder
Two teenage guys finally get it together one evening amongst the Eucalyptus trees above Hobart, Tasmania in 1971.
It is 1971 Hobart, Tasmania. Ross Mayne is boarding at an education department hostel to complete Year 12. He has been away from the family farm for a month. The night before he returns home buddy Michael Nichols, climbs into his bed.
An anxious weekend of disclosures and secrets follow. Ross’s older brother Phillip leaves home in a hurry. Fearing what people might say, the Mayne family fabricates a story about Phillip’s departure. Ross is offered the family farm.
Despite the need for silence, Ross and Michael get it together in a night of sustained passion underneath the Southern Cross.
