Overview: Aliette de Bodard is a multi-award-winning author. She is a half-French, half-Vietnamese computer and history geek who lives in Paris with her family, She has a special interest in non-Western civilisations, particularly Ancient Vietnam, Ancient China and Ancient Mesoamerica. Aliette is an engineer, a writer, and a keen amateur cook. Her love of mythology and history led her to speculative fiction early on.
