A Poor Relation:

The next, she had lost everything and was forced to take up residence with her only remaining family. — Her days became an endless round of fetch and carry, though she would not complain. She was relieved, however, when the arrival of the new Earl of Farleigh interrupted the routine and caused a flurry of excitement in the neighborhood. She could well understand the excitement generated by the handsome and erudite earl. But she constantly cautioned herself against her runaway heart. After all, what interest could such a man have in a poor relation?
Crossed Quills:
Philippa "Pippa" Lisle is more interested in politics than fashion. From Sweetbriar Cottage, she writes essays on the issues of the day, not daring to reveal herself as their author, the radical Prometheus. After all, what respectable gentleman would wed her if the truth were known that "she" was posing as a "he"? So when the disarmingly handsome Lord Selworth seeks Prometheus’ literary help, Philippa is torn. She’s sure if she accepts, her secret will be out.
For years, Wynn Selworth supported his widowed mother and sister by writing Gothic romances under the pen name Valentine Dred. Now that his great-uncle has died and left him his title and estates, Wynn abandons his clandestine career for a seat in the House of Lords. But when he puts pen to paper, flowery images make a muddle of his maiden speech to Parliament. Fearing it will ruin his new career, he must enlist the help of the serious-minded Prometheus — even if it means working with the man’s go-between, the distractingly charming Pippa Lisle. Still, Wynn dare not divulge his past, for what proper young woman would tolerate the author of such infamous potboilers? It isn’t long before rumor and gossip compel the literary pair to become hero and heroine of their own romantic drama — and to struggle for the happiest of endings!
Ginnie Come Lately:
She was a parvenue, a fortune hunter… and a beautiful temptress. — IT WAS WAR! — When Justin, Lord Amis, returned from abroad, he learned that his father had married a penniless widow in his absence — and inherited her unruly brood of children, to boot! Justin was determined to expose the family for what they were — unprincipled upstarts who had no right to any part of his father’s wealth. Then he met Ginnie, the eldest daughter, and things only got worse.
He was certain she was masterminding the flanking attacks by her siblings, yet every time he was confronted by her beauty, he seemed incapable of routing her. Desperate, he decided to invite his fiancée, the haughty Lady Amabel, and all her tonnish friends to a house party to show his unwanted new family they had no place in Society.
Lavender Lady:
A COUNTRY GIRL — AND AN EARL — With a clutch of lively half brothers and sisters to raise and too few servants, Hester Godric’s life was one of simple country domesticity. Then David Fairfax arrived on her doorstep. The victim of a frightful coaching accident, he was young, handsome, and, though he chose to keep it a secret, the Earl of Alton. All too conscious of his charm, Hester dressed his wounds-and strove to conceal his very disturbing effect on her heart.
But fate would soon unmask her blue-blooded deceiver-and thrust Hester into the whirl of the London season. For the Earl had a growing tendre for the spirited but untitled Hester that posed a most perplexing question: could such an unsuitable match survive the ruthless quizzing of the treacherous ton?

Would it be fair to remove the child–and why has Iverbrook grown so fond of pretty, outspoken Selena?

My Lord Winter:
After the coach in which she was riding to London broke down, Fate let Lady Jane Brooke to seek shelter at the nearest house. — She was reluctantly admitted by the Earl of Wintringham, most often called Lord Winter for reasons instantly obvious to Jane. Despite himself, Lord Winter began to thaw in the simple presence of Miss Brooke. But Lady Jane knew that if her deception were ever discovered, "My Lord Winter" would render her frozen with disapproval.
Smugglers’ Summer:
What a difference there is in the way our two young ladies view a summer spent at an isolated castle in Wales! To beautiful young Julia Langston, used to the doings of the ton, it is a dreary incarceration; her father has banished her from London in the hope she will forget her most unsuitable suitor, James Winn. WHERE THERE’S A WILL…THERE’S ROMANCE! — Nerissa Wingate’s grandfather, Sir Barnabas Philpott, had never forgiven her mother for running off with an actor from the "wrong side" of the ton. And now Nerissa was paying the price — by having her fortune rest on her virtue! According to Sir Barnabas’s will, she and his godson — the notorious scoundrel Miles Courtenay — must live together at Sir Barnabas’ estate for six months among a score of poor relatives, eccentric hangers-on, and — it was even rumored — a ghost!
If either of them acted improperly, his or her legacy would be instantly forfeit. Nerissa could see the wicked gleam in Miles’s eyes. He was a rotter, a roue — and a deucedly goodlooking man. She feared for her reputation. Worse, she felt her heart go pitter-pat and her knees go weak whenever he came near. No. Never. Absolutely not. Charm her he might. Intrigue her he surely would… but she would not, simply could not, fall in love!

Teresa Danville, raised in Costa Rica by her "black sheep" father, presents a challenge to the diplomatic skills of Sir Andrew Graylin. Niece of an English duke, Teresa was not raised to London society, but to wielding pistols and overseeing a coffee plantation household. Bringing this exotic beauty (along with her brother and her parrot) to civilization gets the previously affianced Sir Andrew in deep trouble.
The Fortune Hunters:
They both knew it was too good to be true. Two more unlikely fortune-hunters than Miss Jessica Franklin and Mr. Matthew Walsingham would be hard to find. But they had no problem locating each other in Bath. Jessica could not credit her luck to find in Matthew both love and money, and Matthew could scarce believe that Jessica was as lovely as she was wealthy. The pair of them were prodigiously pleased. But as fate would have it, the truth will out. And whether they would still take each other for richer or poorer became the uppermost question in each of their minds.

The Improper Governess:
A MYSTERIOUS MISS… — From the stage of the Royal Coburg Theatre, Lissa Findlay saw Lord Ashe watching her. She knew the notorious rake was looking for a mistress, and though circumstances had forced her to become an actress to survive — a definite lowering of her social status — she would never lose her virtue. Never! — A DASHING LORD… — Lord Ashe was accustomed to pursuing women of "experience." But the innocent-looking beauty at the Coburg had captivated him in unexpected ways. And yet, when he made his advances, the cheeky miss slapped him most roundly. Despite being spurned, Lord Ashe was unable to forget her or her dire situation. If she wouldn’t share his bed, perhaps she could share his house.
Lord Ashe proposed a new role for Lissa as governess to his nephew. If the ton, or his dowager mother, discovered her real profession, t’would be a scandal. But a tale as dramatic as any playwright ever writ was unfolding with a villain in the wings, a fortune at stake, and a lord discovering he too had a role to play…as a hero for love!

First, there was the business of her parents’ estate, now firmly in the hands of her skinflint brother Godfrey. Then, there was the band of cutthroats who hoped to ransom her for a goodly price. Finally, there was the respectful distance her gallant and good-looking rescuer, Oliver Pardoe, insisted on preserving. Untitled and from a family whose great wealth came from trade, Oliver refused to even consider a match between himself and aristocratic-born Ruth Penderric.
Ruth knew this for shallow nonsense. Though all of society would think theirs a shocking mesalliance, she was losing her heart to the brave and brilliant man who had saved her life. It would take a little time, not to mention some delightful and dangerous adventures, before she would know if her noble birth could stand in the way of their love.
