A Moment to Prey (1959) aka Backwoods Tramp
Lily knew what she wanted, and that was a man who would take her away from the dirt road and one-room country shack she called home. Lily was different than the other swamp folks, different and smarter. She was looking not only to get out but for something, and it was clear that she’d do anything to get whatever that might be, including commit murder. It was impossible to avoid her, her sleepy eyes that made it seem that she’d just crawled out of a warm bed, her full lips and lush body. An insurance investigator is sent by his company from St. Louis to find out the truth about a hundred thousand dollar scam; he discovers the truth, all right, but Lily makes him concentrate on something altogether different.

A Night for Screaming (1960)
Ex-cop Mitch Walker is on the run after being wrongfully accused of murder. So Walker hops a train and ends up in a small town in Kansas, where he signs up to work at a huge farm owned by Barton M. Cassel, the big man in the county.
The farm looks like a good place to hide from Fred Palmer, his pursuer and former partner, and the local cops, but Walker soon finds himself caught between the jealous battle of his new employer, and Cassel’s beautiful wife, Eve. And one way or the other, nobody leaves the farm.

A Ticket to Hell (1959)
He was a tall and slender man in his early thirties with a bitter hunger in his face. There was a strength about him that the tailored jacket couldn’t conceal or soften, and a readiness about him that clashed with the expensive car and the hand-sawn luggage.
Ex-convict Ric Durazo was a man on a mission – well chosen for the job of saving someone’s life, even if it cost him his own.
A Ticket to Hell is a fast-paced noir ride through the cheap motels and desert canyons of New Mexico.

Call Me Killer (1951)
Homicide Detective Barney Manton had a simple theory about catching murderers. Just beat, torture, and hound your suspect until his life becomes completely unbearable. Stay on top of him every hour of every day until he yearns for release—even release via the death chamber. Presto! You have your confession, the law has its “murderer” and the case is closed…He was just a little guy called Sam Gowan. He was holding an empty automatic in his hand. At his feet lay the body of a man who had been shot through the head. Sam Gowan’s clothes were covered with the man’s blood—Sam Gowan’s senses reeled with panic—one thought came through—Escape! Cover your tracks and escape!…Sam Gowan had never heard of Homicide Detective Barney Manton—Manton never knew that a little guy called Sam Gowan existed. Capricious fate decreed that the two men meet in a deadly, unequal contest, a cat and mouse struggle with all the resources of the police department arraigned on the side of the powerful and sadistic Homicide Detective.
