1. Sticks & Stones – My name is Ophelia Turner, and I’m just like any other 21-year old. Except for the fact that I was born over 330 years ago. After escaping witchfinders with a penchant for dealing with their problems with fire, I’ve been hiding out in New York City.
But after all this time, I’m starting to worry that my cover has been blown. My boyfriend is acting really weird, and I get the distinct feeling that I’m being hunted all over again. It doesn’t help that my last coven contact has been really quiet and the Malleus are literally knocking on my door. You might hate Mondays, but I’ve got a serious problem that can’t be solved with a venti espresso.

2. Moonlight Burns – My name is Maia Hickson, and fire seems to follow me everywhere I go. It took my parents, it took my foster home (good riddance), and now I was on my own again. No big deal, I like it better that way anyway. Nothing important ever seems to happen to me, but after twenty years on hiatus, my favourite punk band is finally releasing a new album. They’re not touring and I’ve got just enough cash to get me to New York. Seems like fate, right?
With her best friend trying to come to terms with being a newly minted vampire, and her boss pressuring her to take a management position at the coffee shop, not to mention the approach of her boyfriend’s new album release party, Ophelia Turner has enough on her plate right now… and she definitely doesn’t have time to deal with anything else, but she might not have a choice.

3. Power of Three – Being a vampire isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Am I really supposed to just wait tables and sling beer to punk kids for the rest of eternity? I don’t think so. Considering it wasn’t my idea to end up immortal in the first place, this is definitely not the spoopy life I had planned for myself. I’m tired of being told what to do by people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing either and it’s obviously time that I took matters into my own hands. I need to get the hell out of this city and figure out what I’m supposed to be doing for the rest of eternity.
Lacey Duncan didn’t ask to be a vampire, and when it comes to being immortal, it’s not surprising that she’s feeling a little unprepared, and maybe even a little abandoned. It’s not easy having a punk rock superstar for a mentor. Ophelia Turner is settling back into her own life, and with the added bonus (?) of having a new witch to train, she’s also been given control of Haven, the coffee shop she’s been working at for the last five years. Feeling more than a little left out, Lacey is determined to find her own path, and maybe even sort out her own place in the world. If that means leaving New York for a little while? So be it.
The only problem? Finding a new mentor isn’t like swiping left, and sometimes, the price of admission is too high.

4. Haven – After what I’ve been through in the last year, there’s nothing I’d like better than for everyone to leave me the hell alone so I can figure out what’s going on. Sure, things have calmed down a little. Haven is mine and Lacey and Maia are settling into their new lives. Well, for the most part anyway.
The only problem is that I can’t seem to shake off the feeling that something big is coming, and if I take my exorcist’s word for it, it’s something I might not be ready to deal with. Yeah, I said exorcist. A bad feeling isn’t the only thing I can’t shake, the fingerprints of an older magic are still lingering on my soul, and I don’t like admitting that I need help… but I need some serious help.
To top it all off, things aren’t exactly calm in New York, and leaving Maia and Lacey behind while I’m getting a magical spa treatment is anything but ideal. I’m sure they can handle the shop on their own, but I’m not so sure they’ll be able to handle the vampires.
Ophelia Turner is still feeling the effects of her brush with an ancient Daughter, and her attempts to have the malevolent presence exorcised from her life are taking more of a toll than she’s willing to admit. After a brush with Meridian in New Orleans, Ophelia begins to realize that there is something bigger being planned, and the safest place for her and her friends is as far away from New York as possible. But sometimes, the best plans are entirely impractical.
Trapped between a Laudan civil war, a moody teenager, and a baby bat that has bitten off more than she can handle, Ophelia will have to make hard decisions and split second choices that will affect not only her life, but the lives of everyone she’s ever loved.
And she might not survive it.
