Thurbin’s descriptions of the countryside, his meticulous research and attention to detail, present a mixture of exciting action and and comforting familiarity that assures his readers that they are in good hands. Plenty of murders, plausible villains and our protagonist in full action-mode make this a must for anyone who roots for the good guy to come out on top. The twist to the ending will not disappoint. Once again Thurbin comes up trumps.
