Overview: Apart from working as a school teacher, Paul also engrossed himself into writing novels. Firstly, he completed his doctorate on the subject of the reign of King Edward II and from the year 1987 onwards began writing and publishing a series of historical mystery novels. His novels were mostly set in the Classical, Ancient Egypt, Middle Age, Greek and other such places of historical importance. The novels written by Paul have been published by New York’s St. Martin’s Press in America, Eichborn, Knaur and Heyne in Germany, and by Edhasa in Spain. Other than these, his novels have also been published internationally in a number of countries such as France, Russia, Portugal, Belgium, Estonia, Bulgaria, Holland, China, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Mexico, Romania and Argentina. Author Paul has used a number of pen names other than his real name for writing different kinds of novels. Several of his many pen names include, P.C. Doherty, Paul Harding, Michael Clynes, Celia L. Grace, Ann Dukthas, Anna Apostolou, and Vanessa Alexander. But as of now, he writes under his own name only.
