Overview: After the death of her husband and the miscarriage of her child, IDA is offered the chance to escape the digital ghost of her husband by entering tech giant, GADDER’s new digital afterlife, wherein she will also be able to realize her long held dreams of motherhood. To receive her prize, she must accept a position on Gadder’s second terraforming project. It is a mission that she can only return from in digital form. A scandal involving a colonist on Gadder’s first project shatters the company’s reputation, forcing them to abandon all ongoing missions and recall the crews. After a series of catastrophes, only one member of Ida’s crew can return to earth. Each then form their own plan to ensure that they are the one who will receive their reward. Ida plans to help the girl who becomes the daughter she never had, until her best friend makes an unwanted sacrifice, forcing her to fight for her own survival and return to earth where she is again confronted with the ghosts of her past.
