Overview: In 1845 Jethro Crampton and William Dalton founded a gold claim in the Dethrock valley at the beginning of the Californian gold rush, Crampton and Dalton with help from their community built the town of Dethrock. They were self appointed Sheriff and mayor of the town and the gold was plentiful. In 1850 the mines of Dethrock were running out and all the gold which had been collected was hidden in a secret place ready to be shared out to all the community. But someone wanted the gold for themselves.
Crampton is a no nonsense sheriff and with his twin French doubled barrelled 20 round revolvers was a feared man.
William Dalton was the timid mayor and all he wanted was peace in the town.
